I set off on a run this morning without a clear route but with the intention of exploring some new paths. The first new path alongside Black Brook ended abruptly at the waters edge and I ended up having to climb up through Stubbing Wood to reach the bridleway. A second excursion near Stainland was curtailed as I was not in the mood to trudge through thick mud.

I ended up running through Holywell Green, West Vale and then home on the Calderdale Way through North Dean Woods. 10.5 km in total.

A 5km walk up to the moor late afternoon. The photo was taken at 3:30 pm on Norland Road.

23,246 steps so far. Hopefully I will sleep tonight.
