A Stormy Day.....

....in paradise. Ah, Kaiteriteri. Definitely one of my “Happy Places”, even in the rain and wind. I stayed overnight at Hannah’s and Alex’s property near Marahau. The rain started early morning and was heavy at times. So we went for a drive to Kaiteriteri. We had lunch at the Kai Cafe, a lovely spot overlooking the beach. Then it was back to Marahau and a garden tour of sorts. I am amazed at how quickly their fruit trees and native plants and shrubs have grown to impressive sizes. They are transforming their land.
