Ramblings and Mutterings

Soggy Fish and Chips

Monday comes round quick all the time and now we're hurtling towards Christmas.  The good news is though that we're also hurtling towards a time when vaccines will be available to get us out of this mess.  I for one would be quite happy to sacrifice this Christmas if we all come through it safely to enjoy the better times again in the New Year.  I suspect though that the proposed plans may actually do more harm and put pressure on the NHS as well as meaning we have to go back into lockdown for January, which let's face it is always a difficult month anyway.  Do we really want that?  In Wales we're talking about having another firebreak before Christmas, we can't keep going in and out of these lockdowns, it's killing businesses and frankly everyone is fed up of it.  Lockdown is a failure in strategy, it's not a fix, it's just a temporary brake.  Rant over.

Was dry all morning, I head out for a late walk and it starts to rain *face palm* but at least I managed to see Mr Heron again, but I think his fish and chips will be a bit soggy today.  Lol!

Today I am thankful for:

1.  More good news on vaccines, we're getting there
2.  Seeing Mr Heron
