Shopping Expedition

The only supermarket in town burned to the ground earlier this year.  Yesterday, pending the rebuild of the store the owners reopened in a huge marquee in what was the old store’s car park and we went there this morning for a look.  Of course, it isn’t as big as the old store but it was well organised and fine for a ‘top-up’ shop.  There were a few things that we wanted that they either didn’t have or weren’t the type we wanted, so we ended up heading over to the deli at Cley to finish off and also took the opportunity to get a loaf at my new favourite bakery.

This is the deli; I’ve also added a picture of the ‘smokehouse’; we didn’t need anything there today but they do a good range of produce.  And so much nicer shopping at these places than a big supermarket.
