Because some days you just need the big cup

Just as we thought might happen, today our provincial leaders enacted new regulations for the next three weeks. Now they are punishable by stiff fines.

I did the math and it looks like for Sunday mornings, we would be allowed 30 people which is the staff, the musicians and three families and one couple.

I was in town today connecting with a couple who have just been told he doesn’t have much time left at all. There were tears and prayers and a good visit, if that can happen at such a meeting.

But it’s a reminder that it’s all relative. Different people face different challenges each day and many won’t even know it.

Maybe this is a reminder to be gentle with others, especially in this season when impatience, frustration, and anger are so near the surface.

The Big Cup? I just thought that after the kind of day it’s been, I should pull it down from the shelf and have one.
