The Pepper Patch

Against the Wind

Entry #2 in my effort to compile a list of the most commonly used Pepper Patch Phrases and their meanings. A shortcut of sorts between a picture and a thousand words.

Today's entry - There's a metaphor here, I think .

This is a multi-purpose response for images that beg for commentary. Sometimes the connection between the pic, the phrase, and the moral to the story is obvious. Sometimes it's a bit more complicated, but its intent, when used in a comment on your journal entry is to say "this is more than just a pretty pic". It's closely related to - "I think there's a story here" which which will be covered in a seperate entry. It is always a compliment, accompanied by a star, and sometimes (if it really made me think) a heart.

Back story on today's pic. Crowded street in the French Quarter of New Orleans. Folks were mostly headed down in the direction of the music except for this one fellow who was going against the flow. Marching to the beat of his own drum?

Thanks for putting up with me for a little bit as I wander quite so far afield. Stay safe, be kind ... and the adventure through the viewfinder continues.
