Profession of faith

Today was the end of our current bible study. It was a smaller group but still very special.

We went out for lunch to conclude this season.

As we walked to our destination, I had a call from Ev. It’s not good. And our worst fears have come to pass. It was a very hard conversation and I feel awful. I promised I’d go see her after lunch and the baptisms.

It was really special to be at the baptism, but my heart was heavy for my dear friend. Couldn’t wait to go see her and just give her a big hug.

Martin and I did go visit with her and spent the rest of the day with her and Addie and Chris when he got home. A special time ... we know we will get through this.
