That cat look

...from Pebble, one of Ruth and Josh's two cats. I was round at their house to pick Luca up this morning, so that they could continue with a series of job interviews taking place online.
Pebble and his brother Wolfer (don't ask) were the unexpected but very welcome offspring of Peaches, a cat that Ruth rescued in London, while she was living on a canal boat there over 5 years ago.  This was long before Luca and Eben were thought of. Peaches had a wild night or two out at some point... and later produced a litter of beautiful kittens. Some, like Pebble, are 'snowshoe' cats: much sought after for their white feet and other pretty markings.  The random wonders of the feline gene pool.
Josh and Ruth got through their interview all right, though they won't know the outcome for a while.
