Hypericum Berries

There is a small area of shrubs at the entrance to our local garage .... I must have walked past it thousands of times but have never given it a second glance.

The St John's Wort berries with the backdrop of blue sky caught my eye today.

The fine weather was a real bonus for those who supermarket shopping or just out for some fresh air and exercise.
