Into the City

Lockdown 2, Day 21

I had a busy morning in work followed by a team meeting, and this afternoon I had to go into London. It’s the first time I’ve been on a train since February due to Covid, and I was a little concerned about whether the train would be busy, but I had nothing to worry about, there was hardly anyone onboard.

London was exceptionally quiet, and it was nice to see it without lots of traffic and people. I went to see the the Christmas lights, which are lovely, and had a walk along river and the London Eye looked spectacular with all the reflections on the water.

I’m back in Brighton now and and really glad I had this opportunity.
