A view from St Swithin

Kerloch

Today Brodie and I tramped up a local hill - Kerloch 534m.
It’s close to Banchory, offers a fairly short outing ( we were up and down in under 3 hours) , and is fairly quiet. Indeed we saw no one the whole day with the exception of some men flying model aircraft near the car park.
It’s a pretty unremarkable hill but is a great viewpoint and we had a view stretching from the North Sea to the snow capped Cairngorms. I also counted 7 separate wind farms visible from the summit.
Brodie is modelling his Dundee United top. It’s not a fashion statement but simply makes him easier to spot in heather or forests on gloomy days.
