A Christmas rose

Looking out in the garden I was so surprised to see flower buds on my Christmas Rose.  At least six.  For the last two years it seemed to be swamped by the thyme plants and had no flowers at all.

Today was my friends funeral .  She would have loved these flowers.  She was a very keen gardener.  Many thanks to Annie (Bikerbear) for hosting.
