Johanna Basford 'Twitterpicture'

The artist Johanna Basford is a friend of a friend, so I have met her a few times, and already have some of her artwork displayed in my flat. Today Mr hazelh collected this latest acquisition from the framer. Now we just need to decide the best place to display it - not outside in my yarden, obviously...

It has been a day of meetings and email, with some good news for Marina and another of the PhD students in my group on a small funding bid that they submitted a couple of weeks ago. I managed to whittle my email down to zero by the time that Friday wine was poured into my glass. This is the first time that I have managed this for some time.
