Rose and her Quilt

Having finally stopped teaching just before the summer, Rose decided she needed a new challenge. Apparently making a quilt came to mind although she had never made one before. Research ensued via online videos and websites and in what seemed to me like an incredibly short time the first quilt was completed. Even before it was finished Rose was onto her second quilt, and wanted something a little wilder.
And here we are - quilt number two completed. This one really impressed me. Though I am know nothing of quilts and quilting I do know I find this one exciting and dynamic.
Now Rose is planning number three but the high levels of Covid are keeping her away from the charity shops and her source of materials, so I guess it will appear sometime in 2021.
We are only really meeting outside. We stepped inside to admire the quilt but remained a quilt length away from each other.  Then the three of us set out on our walk and met up with two other pairs of friends. We stood in a rather large circle, almost 2m apart, giving the circle a circumference of about 10 m.
The extra shows a house seen on our walk along the old road. It's very run-down, almost derelict, but someone likes the birds anyway!
(This is a backblip - today's blip is also in place.
