Stanage Edge

We couldn’t be bothered to plan or get ready last night so woke up today at 10.30 with everything to do. Decided a huge fry up would remove the need for a packed lunch. Was late by the time we got in the car but not too bad. Then James accidentally took a route that was due to take 13 mins longer according to google maps. Then he took the M1 the wrong way as if driving to his parents house.... Nevertheless we eventually made it, though the rain had started to come down and also a very thick fog that made it hard to see. We decided to abandon our planned route, which involved lots of wiggly footpaths because it was so hard to get our bearings in the fog. Instead we did all the way along and all the way back in a straight line at the top of Stanage Edge. Supposedly great views though couldn't see a thing! Still very nice to be out though.
