A run in the country . . .

Had a lovely day out in the country with Terrifo today - we went initially to Bow to see what they had in their Aquatic centre for my teeny pond! Not a lot on offer so I resisted buying but did get a good idea of what I'd like.
So, what to do? Terri was driving so took off on a mystery tour. We ended up driving towards Dartmoor where we found these delightful little ponies - heavily pregnant shetland ponies I believe - shades of Thelwell.
We went to see Wheal Betsy - an old silver mine with the wonky chimney before heading to Lydford Gorge and a nice cup of tea (oh, and a chocolate brownie might have been eaten).  A lovely day out.
I've got several extras left, so put in more snaps - one of the small rivers on the moor, Wheal Betsy and an homage to Hobbs - I found some barbed wire and thought of him....
A grand day out!
