This little pig...

As part of our work on The 3 little pigs we looked at 'Picasso's Pig' and the children were encouraged to have a go at drawing their own pig in the style of Picasso.
Most of them found this very tricky and simply drew a 'typical' pig with a round body, circle head, two triangle ears and a smile :-)
However, Bethany (4yrs old) did this!
She chose to use a whiteboard & pen rather than pencil & paper but I was really impressed with the similarity! I'm all for children creating their own interpretations and drawing things the way they see them but for this activity Bethany certainly understood Picasso's simplicity & style, I think he would be proud :-)
