Christmas in a box

December 1st tomorrow so time to dig out the Christmas decorations?
Gill made this Christmas room box a few years back and was delighted to find the lights still work :-)

I imagine many families have had the conversation we did yesterday about who might visit who over Christmas.  We decided on no travelling about, so it will be a Zoom Christmas morning, three separate meals and we'll be sorting out gifts to be sent off or swapped over the next week or two.

I had the inevitable Amazon return to send off today - so not too impressed to find the village Post Office has closed - although just for a few days while it is refurbished.  The family who have been running it have decided to sell the business and it is being absorbed into the Co-Op which will end up split between the two buildings on opposite sides of the street.  It might well work,  talk of a bakery and the off-licence sections can be combined.

We saw several of the other Christmas Tree Trail entries too - lots of variety and inventiveness so it should brighten up what could have been a dire time.
