Catcher In The Sky

My second day volunteering and what a day. It is clear there is a terrific amount of work to be done and I have not stopped. This picture shows one of two galvanised gutters on each of the garden buildings which were completely blocked with leaf litter and pine needles. Access using a ladder and hands on to scoop out and drop into a rubble bucket below. 5 hours today and my back is creaking. But the finished job is so satisfying and worthwhile, all gutters now clear and downpipes running freely. The charity staff are very grateful and I get a free cuppa into the bargain. Happy Days!
