Edinkillie watch-house

An unusual hexagonal watch - house in Edinkillie Kirkyard. The extra shows the interior of the watch-house with a fireplace, windows overlooking the kirkyard and the elaborate roof beams. The photograph was taken from the doorway into the kirkyard. The watch-- house is set against the manse dyke. A notice by the Kirkyard gate imparts the startling information that the manse was designed to represent a flying dove when seen from above.
