Still blooming at the beginning of December

Yesterday’s blip of Hendon was not the house we were viewing, unfortunately! It’s a fine property, well beyond our means and, as many blippers have said, expensive to maintain and insure. It is a magnificent building all the same.

Today is the twentieth anniversary of us moving into our current house. Where have the years gone? We toasted the place with a glass of wine with dinner tonight.

The house is being valued tomorrow so Susan has been busy in the garden tidying up and planting out her winter bedding. I cut the grass, first time I’ve ever done that in December.

It’s amazing that her summer bedding plants survived until December. Not for much longer, soon after I took this shot the lavatera were cleared from their pots and put into the compost bin. Others live on in the border.
