Fungi and raindrops

We decided we would try a walk in the National park this morning, the weather forecast looked OK. We don’t walk up there when it’s very hot or when it’s wet. The temperature was 10 degrees and the cloud level was very low so much so that you couldn’t see very much. It started raining as we set off but I was determined to keep going. The extra is a village through the clouds and the main shot is some unusual fungi. We saw other fungi which looked very much like normal mushrooms. Anyway walk finished in just under two hours, we drove home in drizzle and just after we got indoors the heavens opened and we have had two more downfalls since then. The underground natural reservoirs should be filling up quite nicely.
