Past it’s best

This hardy geranium is past its best having been hammered by rain for the past nine days. This morning things were looking back to normal weatherwise and we had sunshine. I had the sheets on the washing line and we were eating our lunch on the balcony with the sun umbrella over the table. I heard a few plops of rain on the umbrella, we rushed to take in the washing and our lunch items and then we had another tropical deluge. We keep on thinking that must be the last one. Goodness knows how much rain has fallen in the last nine days.
