The Great (Wet) Outdoors

Rainy days don't get you down,
not at one year old.
In woollies, mac and wellies,
you won't get wet or cold.

There's no such thing as weather
that forces you indoors.
As long as you've the right clothes on
the outside world is yours.

Rainy days don't get you down,
not when you are one.
A bit of puddle-splashing
is always so much fun.

And stamping on wet leaves is good,
and walking on wet walls,
as long as someone holds your hand,
then no-one ever falls.

Rainy days don't get you down,
not when you're a tot.
The world outdoors is still great fun
when it rains a lot.

Can't stay awake by evening, but it's a joy. It also gives her mum a chance to catch up on rest, when she's been up several times a night with the teething tot.
