A Day In The Life

The Little Easy

While waiting in the car, I used my phone to take a picture of the view from the driver’s side. It’s a glimpse of Hallowell’s main street, one of the smallest cities in Maine, and just a short ride from where we live • Hallowell is one of our favorite places to hang-out. It’s located in central Maine on the Kennebec river, with merchants, taverns and restaurants lining its main street • There are live music offerings every night which is the reason it’s known as the “New Orleans on the Kennebec” • The Gaslight Community Theatre is one of the oldest in the state, and every Saturday the Farmers Market showcases local produce, baked goods, bread, cheese, etc. • Hallowell has a rich history with plenty of current day charm • We love its sense of community and the warm welcome extended to all visitors near and far • Another storm is on the way this weekend. Forecasters still aren’t sure if it will be wet or white. Stay tuned!
