Crucifix orchid

This epidendrum orchid is native to South America, like many other flowering plants which grow in Australia. This one thrives in our front garden where it gets plenty of sun and any care it needs from M, resident gardener.

My entry is the orchid photographed on the shiny surface of my tablet, hence the reflection and shadow.
