"A Wayside Snowdrop"

I spotted this snowdrop growing on the verge of a busy road. This is the second time this week that I have rolled around in a ditch getting a photo for Blip. :) Always on the lookout for signs of spring to tog at this time of year, I'm quite pleased with this slightly different take on a popular seasonal subject.

My title is the title of a book by ME Winchester, on which I haven't been able to find much information. :(
