UNICORNS FOR CHRISTMAS

Our neighborhood has an annual Christmas decorating contest, with
amazing Christmas light displays.  Every year we have taken our grandchildren for a drive to see the lights.  Our new neighbors across the street must have heard, because they have been putting up a beautiful light display that keeps on growing.

I don't think of UNICORNS as traditional Christmas decor, but this house has every imaginable light-up animal; & our granddaughters will be thrilled with this new addition.  They will be coming on Sunday for dinner in the car & a cruise through the neighborhood.  They have a difficult time choosing a favorite because they are so many wonderful displays. There is even a whole street with every house lit up. The rule is:  "LOCK-IN" to a favorite.

In years past, I have been a bit of a Scrooge about Christmas lights, but 
since we moved here, driving around to see them has become a cherished 
Christmas tradition.  This year, these festive lights  may be the highlight of the season.
