Festive

I had a zoom class this morning, then zoom knitting. After that, I needed a walk.  There’s a lovely block downtown that features several painted ladies, my favorite landmarks as I aim for the library. It hit an ecstatic 72 degrees in the afternoon, now dropping fast. We’d enjoy the sunshine a lot more if drought didn’t loom over everything. It’s a strange world where you can’t enjoy the sun for worrying about the lack of rain. And it’s about to get stranger, as we are very close to a 3 week Covid lockdown.
