Who stole the mountain.

We were greeted this morning by the first snow of the winter, about 1 cm (o.5") of soft wet snow over the garden.  Knowing "the Mate" was coming mid afternoon to celebrate his birthday I thought I had better get a blip done early.

So I nipped up the road intending to get a shot Of Blencathra.  Now I know they put the mountain up for sale a few years ago but I never thought anybody would remove it!   As you can see from the blip somebody has taken it!

The short 1-2 mile drive took me from 1 cm of snow to about 15cm (6") and from being able to see  a couple of miles to being able to see less than ½ a mile.
