Vat of steaming blackcurrants

Making compote. The kitchen smells quite wonderful. All the remaining frozen fruit from the garden is now being put to good use so when my Iceland delivery arrives in the week I have a place to put my honey’d parsnips!

Mopped the wooden floors and beat the rugs. Won’t need doing again till spring as the hoover will cope in the interim.

Trying to do a big charity shop sort today. Feeling relatively productive.

Time to sort some bookshelves next.
