Three times table

A bee-ootiful day today! Blue sky, sunshine, fluffy white clouds, perfect. Walked down town as usual, for a paper and fresh fish, and as we came to the end of our road where we can look across to the water between the houses the ‘Isle of Arran’ came into view. She’s standing in for the ‘Isle of Mull’ which is away for maintenance.
When we arrived down at the seafront it wasn’t long before two more ferries came into the harbour, as if they were racing each other to the pier. Firstly the ‘Hebridean Isles’, presumably standing in for some other ship – maybe the ‘Clansman’ – and then the tiny ‘Loch Striven’, over from the island of Lismore. Busy, busy!
But as you see, my Blip today is not of a ship, but of what I thought was rather different, for me anyway.  I took this on the way home, at the end of our road. It’s not often that you see an object, its reflection and its shadow all at the same time. At least I didn’t think so!

Quote of the Day:

Plato – “And first he will see the shadows best, next the reflections . . . . . . . . “
