The Weather Outside Is Frightful

But the fire is so delightful, and since we’ve no place to go, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow • That is today’s theme song • It lightly rained all morning but it changed to snow midday. It’s a big storm, rain or snow, and forecasters are varying on amounts. So far we’re not in the heaviest snow band but 8-14” is more than enough for us. Fingers crossed it’s closer to the low side • Heavy wet snow plus windy conditions usually results in power outages. The snow is to continue through tomorrow morning • There’s plenty to keep us busy inside. We have Christmas cards to finish, letters to write, presents to wrap. And most importantly a Happy Hour to attend later this afternoon. A tall G&T is looking mighty fine • No doubt a snowy blip to look forward to tomorrow. The birdies will be hungry • Cheers to you!
