power cuts

power cuts are a daily affair now...correction - twice daily! 6am - 8am and then again for one more hour in the afternoon. The afternoon outage doesn't really bother me as I am at work. Weekends are a different story though. But the morning outage is painful. It is hot here and that early in the morning when the power goes off, it is just terrible. The sweetest of the sleep is just before we are about to wake up - and it is really irritating when you have to get up before you actually intend to.
