Anne's Daily Encounters

By dutchdelight

From Jan Brueghel the elder

Received today my initial Christmas card with Season's greetings from my UK friend via the postman (glad we still got postmen at work!) The backside of the card says that it's a detail from the painting 'The adoration of the Kings' made in 1598 by Jan Brueghel the elder and this painting is exhibited at London's National Gallery. It seems that this gallery is open and this painting can be visited with all the COVID-19 measures in place... but let me put it here!

Thank you all for your visits and *** & ♡♡♡ of recent! Have a Good Weekend Blippers!
