The fishmonger's stall in The Shambles market

I nipped outside briefly from The Shambles indoor market  to get have a break and get some air. Just outside is the fishmonger's stall  and I asked for permission to take a picture. In the background under the separate yellow awning is Andy and Gilda's organic vegetable stall which has been a fixture here for decades.

The fishmonger took over the site and the goodwill from David Felce who was a wonderful local character. He sadly died about ten years ago from cancer in his early sixties. David was a very keen photographer whom I used to help setting up his iMac system and his back-up drives. 

The fish looks good but is a bit pricey for us. Not exceptionally so but good quality does come at a price.
