Playing around a bit with acrylic paint, trying to get a galaxy background for page 2 from last Wednesdays mixed media challenge. Theme is 'Light' and all of those I've seen has a candle on their page. Light is so much more, so I'm doing starlight - or rather I will be picturing Saturns and Jupiters close encounter. The planets have already started to close in on each other. Not sure how I will fit the wash tape on the page - which was a step too... and stars... I've covered stars, and I do have wash tape with universe print on them, so I'll try to get something done. I think my problem is that I want to have some kind of 'realism' on my pages... but mixed media is so much more.
