Tardis garden

Dad's little bit of decking was a favourite spot of his for relaxing outside. The weather is grey, rainy and chilly today so I'm afraid this blip has streaky window reflections as I'm disinclined to go out there!

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments. The rainbow felt significant, especially such a great arc of colour and light (Dad worked all his life at the BBC Research centre and some of his work involved lighting so it was rather apt!).

My sister and I saw the funeral director today and things will hopefully go ahead on the date planned after New Year. It seems a long way away but there's Christmas to factor in plus travelling to and fro. Sadly for a family that loves singing we are not permitted to do so at the funeral.

We plan a memorial service full of song and proper mingling as soon as it's feasible :-)
