Couch to Chorus

This young lady has done a fantastic job taking lots of people through Opera North’s Festive Couch to Chorus these last few weeks. Tenors this morning, Altos (for J) yesterday.

It’s fun. I’ve got over the surreality of singing Puccini to my lap top (the action taking place on Christmas Eve). Sullivan’s “the Marquis de Mince Pie” is very silly, as befits the festive season. And the polonaise from Christmas Eve (Rimsky Korsakov) brings some festive Russian spice,
