Autumn leaves

Just loved the carpet of leaves. Unfortunately this area is kept locked as it has a Muslim Cemetery in one corner, so I had to poke my lense through the fencing.

A few days ago we realised that it was being used as a gathering area for people attending a funeral at a local temple. We saw the cortege of around thirty trucks, so obviously the deceased was very popular. The truck beds were full of people, as well as the cabs. From this point on the coffin would remain on a truck, but have symbolic ropes attached so that the coffin can be pulled to the temple by the monks. The mourners follow on foot. Thai funerals are very moving.

However, on this occasion I just wanted to show you the size of the leaves. I will add an extra of the trees that they're came off. Trees here do not loose all their leaves.
