Severn Sunset

Day 262 of UK COVID-19 Pandemic.  First Vaccine 4 days ago.

I visited my dad near Penarth, Cardiff early this afternoon to spend some time with him as he's on his own. Afterwards I visited Blackrock, Portskewett to watch the sun setting over the River Severn. The photo' shows it setting behind The Second Severn Crossing. It's the first time I'd visited this vantage point and I'll visit again as it's a pleasant thirty minute car ride through lovely countryside via Usk to Monmouth.

Getting home, my friend Dave has moved in the barn opposite, having got the house keys late this afternoon after completion. He's a lovely person and I'm sure we'll get to the pub 100 metres away soon enough!
