Small Substitute for a Beer Festival!

For the past few year I have indulged, with a few colleagues, in sampling the various Christmas style beers at the Abingdon 'Winter' Beer Festival.  Alas not this year, what with one thing and another!

Fortunately, Loose Cannon (the local brewery in Abingdon) is packaging the eight incarnation of their Festive Ale in mini-kegs, with free local delivery!

I will be putting this into the back of a cupboard for now, to bring out over Christmas; when Child No.1 will be coming home for a few days during the 'window of opportunity'.  Not quite the same as going down to one of the fine local hostelries; but it will have to do for 2020.
