New, and surprisingly OK!!

Today we went up to the big town - Abingdon!

My better half had to visit their office for the first time since the start of the first Lockdown; to clear out any remaining personal possessions before the offices were 're-configured' for the post-Covid world of work.

This involved finding some unused communal tea, coffee, and squash (to be used for meetings).  They was all well after their 'Best Before' or 'Use By' dates.  The squash could probably have been used for culturing a vaccine - but probably not against Covid-19.

I took the time to wander around the large Waitrose in the town, to see if there was anything of interest that we don't have access to in our little corner of Oxfordshire.  The answer was: surprisingly little, and the only item  of note was Pineapple Jaffa Cakes!!!  These are a successful variant on the originals.  They could even take off!
