SILLY SATURDAY - WAITING FOR A BLIPMEET

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Yesterday afternoon, Mrs. HCB had a phone call from a special Blip friend, Heidi, who said she was staying just down the road at Cirencester, in her camper van, Alfie and wondered if she could pop in to see her and Mr. HCB on her way home today.

Because Mr. & Mrs. HCB have been very good about not seeing people during the lockdowns, they discussed it and said that if Heidi was willing to sit under their carport and just have a hot drink, then that would be fine.

So Mrs. HCB did a quick wash and brush up of the three of us and we were ready for when Heidi gets here - she said it would be about 1 p.m. as she has a little errand to do on the way.

Mrs. HCB gets so excited about Blipmeets and we do understand why - she and Mr. HCB meet such lovely people - and we know because lots of them have come to their home.  We have had Blip friends from all over the place and one even comes from America with her husband - although sadly she hasn’t been over here this year - but perhaps next year.

Mrs. HCB says she isn’t going to post this until after Heidi has been because she can put a shot of them in as an extra, but we wanted to tell you how excited we were to be having a Blipmeet today.  Mr. HCB has just said we could sit in the garden because it’s sunny - although it’s a bit windy, but it would be much nicer than sitting under a carport and of course, they will be physically distanced.

Will finish this later when we have seen Heidi.

Love to you all,

JH Ted, Snowy and Goldie xxx

P.S.  We had a great Blipmeet - Heidi is so lovely - and we remember when she used to come to see Mr. & Mrs. HCB with her little dog, Dolly, who sadly died a couple of years ago.  Mind you, they ate ALL the mince pies - they didn’t even offer us one - how rude!

However, after an hour just sitting in the garden, it got rather cold, so the visit wasn’t that long - but it was great to see Heidi and her little friends and she even wore a Santa hat as you will see in the extra photograph and you can see what a lovely day it was from the reflections in the table.  Heidi brought greetings from a Swedish Blip friend so it was almost like having a Blipmeet with her too.

P.P.S.  Sadly Heidi doesn't know the difference between a face mask and a beard - she said that I should have had my face mask on OVER  my nose - silly Heidi - well, it is Silly Saturday - and I'm sure that Admirer would have been proud of us!
