Old tune; new words?

We've had the last Rose, so it can't be Summer, but the Welsh Poppy has yet to give up the ghost.
OOPS! Is it a Poppy, or a Meconopsis? "Papaver cambricum, synonym Meconopsis cambrica"  
I emptied the rain gauge this a.m. - about 0.3", just checked - another 0.1" since then.
My Mk ll water Butt is over 1/2 full without any guttering or catchment whatsoever; and with a top several inches less than its diameter.  I can NOT remember when I last had to top up the pond.
