Anne's Daily Encounters

Little before Lockdown

Alarmed by the news that our PM will call off another lockdown I got to the camerashop in order to have my sensor cleansed; I know youtube shows me how to do this, but I always fear I might harm the sensor, so I have it done from the specialist. I wasn't the only one who'd come to their shop and thus it took a few hours till I could collect my camera again. While waiting I walked up to a bookstore and got me the final volume they had in the shop of Stephen Fry's book Troy... a welcome read while we're in lockdown again (at least for 5 weeks this lockdown).

Driving back home I watched sundown in the sky and managed to park the car in a corner next to the driveway to take this crane against that sky at dusk in Den Haag, Laak. And yes I did think 'what crazy corners do I take for Blip?!' it was a safe corner I took, so no worries.

Thank you all lots for your reactions upon yester 'Grand Old Lady Pontiac'! I hadn't ever expected to find such an American classic so close to my home, I do hope to see her again... the driver had lit the lights for me when I asked him if he allowed me to picture her
