Junior Rugby in December Rain

For the second Sunday in a row I took a walk around Grove Fields.  The weather was not quite as kind; warmer and less foggy, but wetter and windier.  Still, I felt the benefit of getting a good 5k walk done early.

To my surprise, the football and rugby fields around Grove Rugby Football Club were alive with activity; and training of all sorts.  There was a Rugbytots class, with tiny kids in duvet jackets chasing huge rugby balls (well, huge to them!)

And in the far fields there were  the junior teams being coached for games, with crowds of (socially distanced) parents watching on in the wind and rain.

You have to admire all of the energy and enthusiasm, coupled (I guess) with the relief of being out of Lockdown!!!
