Metaphors for Christmas 2020

Today we went for a walk in East and West Hanney; and visited the grave of our dear friend Jane, who left us in July of this year.  This was my first time back.

It was nice to walk around the villages; and we were able to have a chat with a few friends in the villages.

The Hanney Christmas decorations took a bit of getting use to.  The display in East Hanney was the more cheerful; but we fell for the decoration of the empty Bus Shelter in West Hanney (extra photo), which we felt truly captured the spirit of Covid-19 Christmas.  (It was afterwards we realised that I had included the dog poo bin on the right-hand side of the shelter.)
