Juxtapositions

To Tatton Park this morning - beautiful weather.

I liked this image, it has layers. Fallow deer grazing in the foreground. Then woodland. Then buildings (including a control tower) at Manchester Airport. Beyond, the Pennine Hills, the backbone of northern England. And then the sky.

The extra is a curiosity. We passed a wall I like. It was in full sunshine, which showed off it’s very odd coursing, and it’s increasing dereliction. What I did not notice until I looked at the image on the screen was the incongruous ceramic, hidden in a brick hollow. Shiny and in good condition, my guess is it not there by accident but serves a purpose, for whom and for why can only be guessed.
