Quod oculus meus videt

Red Carpet, Sutton Park

A beautiful day, with a walk in the morning across Sutton Park.  I was amazed at the number of cars and people in the park for a weekday.  Surely a sign of the impact of tier restrictions and the impact of the pandemic.

Then it was a working afternoon, with a final meeting with the organisers of tonight's school drive in concert.  All plans in place and hopefully a really uplifting event for the children and their parents.

This is one of my favourite locations in the park, a small copse of trees that shed these ochre/red leaves on the floor to create a carpet.  The sun is the icing on the cake and midday is the perfect time to take a photograph.  Now if only I could be there when it is misty!
